APT Medical is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the International CHIP Summit (ICS) & POTW 2026, held on April 24–25 in Istanbul, Türkiye. As the inaugural edition of ICS, the meeting marked the launch of a new global educational platform dedicated to advancing Complex High-Risk Indicated Procedures (CHIP) and Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) intervention through structured, cross-regional exchange.
Co-hosted with POTW and supported by our regional partner TEPA, the two-day program brought together over 70 interventional cardiologists from 11 countries, fostering a highly interactive environment for peer-to-peer learning, technical discussion, and clinical collaboration.
The scientific program was designed to be strongly practice-oriented, combining live case demonstrations, expert-led lectures, and interactive discussions. A total of five CTO live cases were performed, showcasing contemporary strategies in complex lesion crossing, device selection, and procedural optimization. These real-world cases served as a foundation for in-depth discussion, enabling participants to evaluate decision-making processes and refine procedural approaches in challenging anatomical scenarios.
In parallel, faculty-led sessions addressed key topics in contemporary CTO PCI, including advanced crossing techniques, retrograde strategies, and the integration of dedicated devices into complex workflows. The program emphasized not only technical proficiency but also the importance of strategy selection, complication management, and procedural efficiency.
ICS & POTW 2026 also provided a valuable platform to explore the clinical application of APT Medical’s interventional solutions in demanding scenarios, supporting physicians in translating device innovation into procedural confidence and predictable outcomes.
APT Medical extends its sincere appreciation to the distinguished faculty, including Prof. Sevket Gorgulu, Dr. Roberto Garbo, Dr. Kefei Dou, Dr. Ali Buturak, Dr. Cuneyt Kocas, Dr. Nihat Kalay, and Dr. Ahmet Seyfeddin Gürbüz, for their outstanding contributions through live case demonstrations, lectures, and expert discussions. Their commitment to education and knowledge sharing was instrumental to the success of the meeting.
The company also acknowledges the strong support of its partner TEPA, as well as the active participation of all attending physicians and partners.
The successful launch of ICS underscores APT Medical’s ongoing commitment to advancing interventional cardiology through clinically relevant education and global collaboration. Building on this momentum, ICS is set to evolve into a long-term platform supporting continuous learning and exchange in complex PCI worldwide.
